  40. I've been on the ParaNet list for a few months and have really enjoyed reading 
  41. everyone's postings.  I've been quite passive about posting myself basically 
  42. because I just don't know too much about this stuff!

  44. Anyway, I read Jim's post about a Belgian book coming out and a sort of 
  45. 'call for translators'.  My French is OK (used to be better!) and I 
  46. wouldn't mind translating some of it for CUFOS.  It sounds like really 
  47. interesting stuff!

  104. FACT: Lazar's claims about Element 115, which he says S-4 scientists isolated 
  105. from materials aboard the saucers, do not stand up to even the most rudimentary 
  106. inspection.

  108. FACT: Lazar's memory of the details of 115 are so spotty as to be nearly 
  109. impossible from a physicist. The first thing a physicist would do is memorize 
  110. the Atomic weight of any newly-discovered element.

  112. FACT: Lazar claims to have secreted some 115 in his home, yet it has 
  113. mysteriously disappeared. (If you had some of the most valuable material on 
  114. Earth, would you hide it in your home? Or would you immediately take out a 
  115. safety deposit box?) 
  116.  
  117. FACT: Lazar claims to have walked up to Edward Teller, the greatest living 
  118. nuclear physicist, and simply been handed a job. Not possible.  
  119.  
  120. FACT: Lazar's background does indeed seem a mystery. No school or institution 
  121. has ever heard of him. 
  122.  
  123. FACT: Lazar provided a W-2 form listing as an employer a non-existent branch 
  124. of the government, with a non-existent employer ID #. 
  125.  
  126. FACT: Lazar does indeed appear in the Los Alamos phone directory. 
  127.  
  128. FACT: Lazar is known to have been associated with John Lear prior to his 
  129. coming forward. Lear is a former CIA employee who is known to have spread 
  130. questionable information for what seem to be disruptive purposes.

  132. FACT: Instead of being a wild-eyed, rabid mega-mouth or a self-proclaimed UFO 
  133. guru, Lazar is in fact a highly credible-sounding gentleman, almost a 
  134. boy-next-door type whom anyone would believe in a flash. 
  135.  
  136. I am not by any means telling you to ignore Mr. Lazar. On the contrary, pay 
  137. extra close attention to him. In him I believe you will see the most blatant 
  138. evidence for the UFO cover-up. Skeptics always ask, how could the government 
  139. possibly keep such a thing secret? The answer is that they don't. They realize 
  140. they can't, so they "hide it in plain sight." Mr. Lazar is, I believe, a false 
  141. flag, someone who is purposely planted (whether knowingly or not, I don't know) 
  142. to gain the confidence of ufologists, and who then can be shot down by skeptics 
  143. who can point to his criminal record (a most convenient contrivance - only the 
  144. 2nd man in Clark County history to be convicted of pandering), his easily 
  145. falsified claims, and his lack of provenance. The result is that if someone 
  146. else were to come forward for real, say, from Tejon Ranch or possibly 
  147. Kwadjelein, no one is going to believe them. "Oh sure, just like that Lazar 
  148. guy, right?" 
  149.  
  150. In short, they've got you watching the birdie. Keep your eye on the cat.

  185. (WordSearch 2.1 NIV) I find no match on a request for "angel," and  
  186. "three," that comes close to this at all. Sorry.

  237. I think we'll be seeing a great deal of significant new   
  238. discoveries and innovative research re: the circles effect. In the 
  239. past few days, I've been contacted by a molecular biologist from 
  240. the University of Illinois whose expertise is in the area of DNA, 
  241. protein, and nucleic acid manipulation. He would like to obtain 
  242. samples of lyophylized CC plant material for analysis. 
  243. Additionally, a cereal chemist whose specialization lies in the 
  244. field of electron microscopy, also net-mailed me for samples of the 
  245. "malformed" seeds Dr. Levengood described. I will do all I can to 
  246. assist these individuals in acquiring material for their work. 
  247.   
  248. It is encouraging to note that these professionals are coming 
  249. forward despite all the talk of "hoax", and the potential of 
  250. ridicule by their peers. Obviously, they feel confident enough in 
  251. their convictions that there is "something" to the phenomenon, and 
  252. are willing to take that risk. I maintain my view that they shall 
  253. be proven to be correct in their beliefs. I don't mean to infer 
  254. that we're necessarily dealing with UFO's or a "superior 
  255. intelligence", but I don't think it's the Energizer bunny either, 
  256. to borrow a hypothesis from Rick Moen. 
  257.   
  258. One beneficial effect that has occurred since Bower and Chorley 
  259. came on the scene, is that only the "true scientists", and "true 
  260. believers" seem to remain. The diminished publicity level should 
  261. actually have a propitious effect on those specialists conducting 
  262. legitimate exploration. Thanks Doug and Dave!

  264. One writer on another echo queried if anyone has done any Kirlian 
  265. photography studies on CC plants. Not to my knowledge, but I am 
  266. examining the possibility. This technique certainly could yield 
  267. some intriguing results, and possibly provide us with another means 
  268. of ascertaining authentic formations. 
  269.   
  270. I will continue to do my best to keep you informed on the latest 
  271. developments, and appreciate the opportunity to facilitate the 
  272. understanding of a most complex and elusive curiosity.

  329. I remember when, many years ago, a guy phoned me (people report all  
  330. sorts of strange phenomena to a UFO organization) and reported seeing  
  331. a green ball, about three feet in diamater, forming at the base of an  
  332. electricity pole in front of a house (on the opposite side of his  
  333. street) while he was actually watching it. He phoned me a few seconds  
  334. after the ball appeared and he kept looking through his lounge window  
  335. and reporting what was happening. The ball was an acquamarine green  
  336. color and transparent because, he said, he could see the electricity  
  337. pole and house behind it. The ball was stationary and eventually  
  338. disappeared after 30 seconds.

  359. Regarding your reply to me about Robert Lazar, I must admit you  
  360. brought up some good points.  Although, I am basically assuming that  
  361. he must have worked at this secret base he claims, thats all.  The  
  362. fact no one knows about him, and that he 'officially' does not exist  
  363. could be due to the fact that people in power who don't want him  
  364. talking simply 'erased' him from computer recordsa here and there.  
  365. Not a hard thing to do you know.

  367.   Anyways, I don't know what to beleive in these days, you know. We  
  368. have to beleive something. Of course if you find flaws in Mr. Lazars  
  369. credibility, you might as well admit, you can find flaws in EVERY  
  370. PERSON who claims to know any SENSITIVE data regarding this topic.  
  371. What do you think about William Moore, or John Lear's stories?  They  
  372. are quite astonishing. But I guess if you really try, you can also  
  373. say the same stuff about them too - they could be working for the  
  374. government spreading disimformation. Who knows, who knows what the  
  375. TRUTH REALLY IS...

  534.  It's actually quite common for this phenomenon to be seen circa 
  535.  power lines, transformers, and utility towers, as your onlooker   
  536.  reported. (I'm not saying ball lightning is common, just that it  
  537.  has repeatedly been associated with the aforementioned locales.)

  539.  I am also confident that a substantial number of UFO reports   
  540.  depicting BOL'S hovering over power lines, are in actuality   
  541.  misinterpreted ball lightning, or a related event.

  589. This is *very* interesting...  Ever heard of Mirkl/Putoff "Scroll  
  590. Waves"?

  592. These are hypothetical constructs from the "Zero-Point Energy"  
  593. theories.  What is interesting is that Dr. Putoff achieved  
  594. results similar to the ones you describe from an experiment that  
  595. used a chamber similar to the waveguide you described.

  597. While Zero-Point Energy is really primarily concerned with  
  598. extracting energy from near vacuum conditions (and things like  
  599. the van der Waals forces & the Casimir effect), photon  
  600. augmentation is another aspect of the theory.  There's a rather

  635.        Advanced Studies in Austin, Texas.

  637.        For every atom there is an energy level below which the electrons 
  638.        cannot sink. Dr  Puthoff  suggests  that this is because, at the low 
  639.        energy levels, electrons cannot lose  energy  any  faster  than they 
  640.        pick it up from a vacuum.

  642.        It is the  vacuum  energy  that  buoys them up, stopping  them  from 
  643.        losing all their energy and collapsing into the atomic nucleus.

  645.        That means that  the  vacuum underpins the stability of every atom-- 
  646.        and thus of almost all matter in the universe.
